Jess has worked as a teacher across both Primary and Secondary settings since graduating with a Bachelor of Education (K-12) in 2019.

With a strong passion for helping children and young people thrive, she is committed to creating meaningful, supportive and inclusive relationships.

Jess has a special interest and professional background in trauma informed practice. She is deeply invested in exploring and understanding the impact of adverse early childhood experiences and how they shape development.

With a background in education, she is highly skilled in individualisation, allowing her to recognise the unique needs of individuals and apply strategies to support them to reach their goals.

In addition to her background as an educator, she has grown up with and continues to support her brother who lives with a variety of complex intellectual, mental, and physical disabilities.

This has given her a unique insight into the advocacy needed to ensure young people living with disabilities are treated with the respect and care they deserve.
