JMS produces two types of Behaviour Assessment Reports (BAR).

Mandatory BAR

A Mandatory BAR reports the outcomes of a client’s behaviour support therapy to the NDIS 6 weeks prior to their next planning meeting. They contain much of what is included in an Evidentiary BAR however the baseline data is compared to the current data to show the effect of the Behavioural Interventions being implemented. Other items that are included in a Mandatory BAR are:

  • Summary of the behaviour support provided including:
  • History of engagement
  • Progression or Achievements of NDIS goals
  • Barriers Encountered
  • Strategies to overcome barriers.
  • The clients’ new goals
  • Behaviour support strategies to achieve new goals.
  • Proposed training interventions to achieve new goals.

All of JMS Allied Services BAR’s explain how the requested support meets the “Reasonable and Necessary” criteria as set out in the NDIS funding guidelines released 1st of April 2021. They also provide how the requested support to Clients Disability based on evidence from the clinical.
