Dr Snow holds a PhD in Psychology, is an accredited I-CAN v6 assessor, a certified specialist behaviour support practitioner, and has published foundational research on the impacts of the NDIS within the clinical literature. His work is grounded in evidence-based practice, advanced specialist credentials, and a career dedicated to improving outcomes for people with disability and their families.
Dr Snow is first and foremost a husband and a father whose passion for enhancing the lives of individuals with disability is deeply informed by his own lived experience. The journey that he and his wife, Jodie, have shared in raising and supporting their son, who lives with significant disability, has shaped Dr Snow’s understanding of the profound challenges faced by people with disability and their families.
Their family’s resilience has given Dr Snow a unique insight into the realities of disability, inspiring a compassionate, person-centred approach to every aspect of his work.
Dr Snow earned his PhD in Psychology from Southern Cross University, focusing on the intersection of disability, behaviour support, mental health, and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). His doctoral research examining the experiences of carers of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder has been recognised through publication in leading academic journals.
His career has included work as a disability advocate with Disability Advocacy NSW, significant contributions to the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices as an independent specialist behaviour support practitioner, and time spent educating and mentoring future psychologists as a lecturer.
In 2020, Dr Snow and Jodie founded JMS Allied Services with a clear purpose: to improve the quality of life and well-being of individuals living with disability through industry-leading, person-centred behaviour support. With Jodie’s partnership and support, Dr Snow’s leadership and commitment to clinical excellence continue to guide JMS in empowering clients and families to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Dr Snow’s professional and personal journeys remain woven together, each reinforcing his resilience, empathy, and unwavering dedication to advocacy. Whether supporting his own family or guiding others through complex systems, his work is grounded in a lifelong commitment to making a genuine and lasting difference.
